The header information is actually modified based on the method used to transmit to Kagi, and may prompt for things like "Don't FAX this, it doesn't have barcodes," etc.
The barcodes are generated so that a printed or faxed form can be sent directly to Kagi for automated processing. The barcodes are not generated for E-Mail submissions, since there is no standard text+graphics document format on BeOS yet.
